The Hooshga Project is a practical way to engage the church in orphan ministry. The Hooshga Care Package, launched May 2013, includes Hooshga, “The Good News Turtle” and a wordless picture Bible sharing the hope of salvation from the perspective of Hooshga. The development of this project would not have been possible without the friendship and support of the Maryland Bible Society. Chris has found healing in the midst of losing his daughter as Jesus ministered these words to his heart: “She will be with me watching while you take her story around the world.”
