Hooshga Care Packages have already preached the gospel to nearly 1,000 orphans and vulnerable children in six countries: United States, China, Columbia, El Salvador, Ethiopia and India. The number of Hooshgas currently being requested is astronomical. IC Orphans was introduced to a key leader from Pakistan who is requesting over 30,000 Hooshga Care Packages and a church leader in Rwanda would like to distribute another 30,000. A sobering request was also made for a digital copy of the Hooshga picture Bible; it will be used for teaching and training purposes in persecuted countries by a minister who travels all over the world.

Summer 2014, Chris Grohman will be traveling to South Africa to introduce Hooshga and use him as a ministry tool in partnership with local churches. Melissa and her daughter, Abby, will be taking Hooshga back to China on a church trip using him as a Vacation Bible School tool. The Grohman family plans to lead the ministry of the Hooshga Project under the care and guidance of IC Orphans.
